Getting acquainted
A one-hour conversation about your business, your customers and what the website needs to do. That is all the time it takes from you; after that, I write the copy. No sales pitch.
A tailored proposal
No template from a catalogue: a design that fits how your business looks and sounds, with the price in writing. You see the design before the build starts, and nothing goes further without your approval.
Build
I build the site and write the copy. You see how it’s coming along as it progresses, without technical jargon.
Going live
The site goes live on your domain. I explain what’s happened and where everything is.
Aftercare
The site can still be changed or extended afterwards. You’re not on your own with it.

- A quick look at the interim version, with your comments.
What I do
- The bespoke design, not a template from a catalogue.
- All the copy, written from that one conversation.
- The build, the basic SEO, going live on your domain and the explanation afterwards.
How we stay in touch
During the build you get at least two check-ins: one on the design, before a single line of copy is final, and one on the built site itself. Nothing goes live until you’ve seen it and signed off on it.
Contact runs by email or phone, whichever suits you best. There’s no ticket system and no middleman: you speak directly with whoever actually builds the site, and I usually answer a question in between within one working day.
How long it takes
For a one-pager: three to four weeks from the introductory call, provided your logo and photos arrive in good time. A business site with more pages takes a little longer. You see the progress as it goes, so there are no surprises when the site goes live.
